Really cool, almost retro, style! Would fit perfectly in a modern pixlegame as the baddie. The transition of the highlight over the face is flawless, which says a lot given all the little crests and bumps, etc. Awesome detail, design and execution. Well deserving of 5/5.

P.s. what is the image? GIF or something else? What tool is it created in? It leaves me inspired to animate!

Cheers,

Lol! This was funny. The idea and the execution of the pice is great. Love the transition from a fidgetspinner to roberto to level 99 roberto. Very inovative and the final design is cool, mixing old japanese armour with the futurama style. Great work.

Thank you so much for the comment, you made my day.

Super sayian Mario? Awesome! Love the colors in the image, very crisp but I also love the idea behind it. Sort of sticks true to the original artwork of the old games but with a new flare. Nice design, can't really fault it :)

Based on stated time spent, although I don't know the character, I love the drawing! I saw the "wip" animation first and then the final piece. Sure, it leaves much to be desired in terms of detail but the overal image is there and presents a menecing looking charecter in a nice pose and with a lot of image depth. Love the scythe as well, really cool. Rating 4/5 because not quite done?

Glad to hear that I am not the only one who is happy with how it turned out :D
Thanks for the feedback Alegroth^^

Absolutely badass! Love the arms and the crystal collar. Shading, magic etc. also looks nice. Would have given a higher rating if shadows had been more consistent. However, you've chosen a difficult motif and still made it look very good. Keep it up!

Thank a lot for the feedback! Appreciate it :)

Hahaha, amazing scenery and depiction of Yoshi as a big, badass, dino! Love the screaming, fleeing charecters and the artstyle reminisent of the early games. Wish the background had some clouds to match the color of the foreground but otherwise a very cool image.

Thanks alot mate! Kinda rushed it when it came to coloring it so shading and stuff was abit half-hearted, same with the clouds and details etc..

I really like how you captured the essence of toothless in the picture. I could tell that it was him even before reading the description. I really like that you went with the glow and overall the piece is well executed. Perhaps some environemental effects to even out the color saturation (the red tail-piece is a bit too bright red) but overall very nice. Had been given a 5/5 if the scales had followed the shape of the body a bit more. The current placement make the body look a bit flat, but regardless a magnificant piece.

thank you so much, I can see what you mean and I am glad you liked it (sory for not responding I'm not on newgrounds very often)

Very nice nightmare fuel! :) Love this type of abstract, yet feasible monster art where anatomy seems to fold together with space and time to simply create something out of a madening dream! Well executed also. Would have been a 5 if there had been some more shadow to give the charecter a bit more depth.

Great piece! Link fighting spongebob at level 99? Hehe. Overall lighting, anatomy, atmosphere, etc. are all spot on! A really fun and interesting piece with many little details to look at. Cool stuff :) Would have rated 5 out of 5 if there had been a more depth to the image that could have been achieved by a bit less detail of the charecters in the background or the background itself. I'm nitpicking however! Excellent work.

I really like the twist in this picture (in the context of the competition) instead of presenting a level 99 version of Ligthning McQueen, doing the Level 1 wooden cart of him. Also fits into the universe as it is not thoroughly explained in the series where "cars" come from. Very nice artework. Rating is based on a mix of novelety and execution where I believe the quality of the car paint, etc. can be improved. For instance, you could add a line following the front fender, across the side of Lightning to the back and place a highlight above it, mirroring a horizon reflection. Thereby adding a bit of gloss to his paint. Regardless, a fun a nice image.

Hi, I'm a PhD in Software Engineering that uses art as an escape from my work. I like to draw but also to work in other media such as putty, which I've used to build my award winning showcars.
